Services
Wisdom teeth
At MP Maxillofacial Surgery we have a friendly and approachable team who will guide you through the process of diagnosis and treatment of wisdom teeth.
Dental implants
Either you miss one tooth or more teeth, dental implants may be for you. You need to have a consultation appointment with us to review your dental and medical history. We will order some x rays for you to study the bone and decide if you are a candidate for dental implants.
Pain in the jaw
Various types of pain on the jaw, the joint, the face and in the oral cavity are common. We are here for you to talk about your symptoms, to perform a thorough examination of your face, jaws and joint and reveal the cause of the pain. Because these cases are multifactorial, we use a variety of techniques for treatment. Let s find out which one is best for you.
Arthrocentesis of the TMJ
This is a less invasive procedure for the treatment of pain in the jaw joint and limitation of mouth opening. It may be performed either under general or local anaesthesia.
Sinusitis Odontogenic
Upper molars have their roots very close to the sinus of the upper jaw. Thus, infections, inflammations or even cysts from the roots of the upper molars may spread in the sinus and cause odontogenic sinusitis. This is related with headaches, nasal congestion, discomfort around the cheek area etc.
Lesions in the oral cavity
A variety of lesions can develop on the mucosa of the oral cavity, on the gums, the cheeks, the palate, the tongue or the lips. These may be flat or bulky, red, white or bluish and of various sizes. Such lesions require investigation and in most cases removal.
